Graduate Landscape Architect

My client is a world leading company who deliver modern, innovative solutions to businesses and professionals in a wide and varied range of sectors, both in the public and private domain. This organisation has a large and highly successful Water and Environment sector who support the delivery of projects in the Rail, Highways and Tunnels, Water, Rivers and Coastal divisions. Due to consistently acquiring a number of exciting, major infrastructure projects, this business is looking to take on a Graduate Landscape Architect in their Lancashire office.

Requirements

Applying for the role of Graduate Landscape Architect, it is essential for you to have a degree and masters in a relevant subject discipline, e.g. Landscape Architecture. You will also be expected to be proficient in a range of software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator, Vectorworks, Lumion and Microsoft Suite. You will have experience producing Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and strong graphic skills, with the ability to portray ideas through hand drawing and sketches.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to self-motivate and work under pressure. You will be eager to learn new skills and to progress within the sector of Landscape Architecture and will be comfortable liaising with a wide and varied client group.

Responsibilities

Working as a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will play an important role in helping to deliver effective and innovative solutions to a range of client projects and will be involved in seeing projects through from design to completion. You will assist with LVIAs, produce high quality technical reports and prepare and present designs and drawings.

Your role will also include the preparation of bids and tenders, the use of a range of software programmes and the chance to learn and progress whilst working alongside a team of talented professionals.
