Graduate Landscape Architect

My client is a well-established environmental consultancy who deliver high quality services to clients throughout the UK in the areas of Landscape Architecture and Planning, Ecology, Waste and Environmental Planning, Geotechnical and Contaminated Land and Flooding and Hydrological services. This business is based out of three strategically placed offices across the UK and work on a wide range of client projects throughout the country, in sectors including residential, commercial and leisure, education, transport and highways. Due to continued growth and project winning, my client is looking for a motivated and talented Graduate Landscape Architect to join the team based in Sheffield.

Requirements

* Degree and post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture, such as a Masters or Diploma
* Excellent graphic skills and a keen eye for design
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of environmental assessment
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
* Commercially aware
* Awareness of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
* Motivation and drive to learn about the sector
* Strong team work and interpersonal skills
* A genuine interest in the sector, for both landscape design and assessment work
* A full, clean driving licence (desirable, not essential)

Key Responsibilities

Working as a Graduate Landscape Architect, you will be required to assist with the day-to-day activities of the landscape team. You will assist with the delivery of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs), which will include preparing graphic information and photographic assessments. You will use a variety of industry standard software as well as producing hand drawn designs. Further duties will include the preparation of both hard and soft detailed drawings and the production of well written reports, such as maintenance and management reports.
