Being one of the oldest Building Services company in the UK is something our client is very proud of and the number of awards they have managed to achieve from the industry reflects their high standard of work. With an excellent year in business and to assist in their growth plans, they are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer to join their office based in Berkshire.

The key duties of the Health and Safety Officer role will include: –

* Working closely with the senior management team of the business, ensuring a safe office environment, as well as designing new Health and Safety policies.
*
* Acting as the point of contact for the company on any health and safety issues, ensuring any incidents are dealt with professionally.
*
* Carrying out risk assessments across the business, then providing recommendations to senior management.
*
* Supporting and training staff on Health and Safety policies in accordance with company guidelines.
*
* Maintaining a full understanding of Health and Safety legislations affecting the business.
*

To apply the successful Health and Safety Officer will have the following background: –

* A recognised Health and Safety qualification
*
* Previous experience in the Construction, Engineering or Building Services sector.
*
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
*
* Full driving license
