Penguin Recruitment are pleased to working alongside an award winning and leading technical consultancy, in recruiting an experienced BREEAM Consultant to join and help grow their established team in Exeter.

Our client offer a range of services from Planning Reports, SAP & SBEM Calculations, through to BREEAM Assessments. With extensive expertise of working with clients and developers of all sizes, there is now an excellent opportunity for a BREEAM Consultant to assist our client with future growth and development, whilst also growing your career.

Duties of the role will include:

* Provision of BREEAM consultancy and assessments in relation to mixed-use and non-residential development across England and Wales
* Active engagement with the client and design team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved over the lifecycle of the development
* Providing high quality consultancy and written reports at land purchase and planning stage to ensure that planning requirements are met
* Utilisation of resources from within the team to ensure that the client receives timely, high quality advice and assessments
* Acting as Project Lead, responsible for the financial and project management of the delivery of a range of sustainability services to complex mixed use developments and non-residential developments across England and Wales

To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in a relevant subject and be able to demonstrate experience of delivery of BREEAM Assessments. You will be conversant with construction specifications including Mechanical & Electrical and have an up to date knowledge of Building Services legislation. You should also have a good knowledge of Microsoft office and have proven ability to self-manage a busy and time critical schedule. Being a qualified BREEAM Assessor or BREEAM Accredited Professional would be advantageous however not essential.
