Health & Safety Officer – Office Based

My client was established over 60 years, and are renowned as one of the leading consultancies in the UK operating in the Construction, Engineering and Facilities Management space. Due to ongoing planned growth, they are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Officer to join their 200+ strong team in the Thames Valley.
This is primarily an office based position, although occasional site-travel is required. You will work closely with the company Directors, developing and implementing HSE strategy for both internal and external stakeholders, and carrying out risk assessments both internally and on client-sites. You will be involved in coaching, mentoring and supporting all staff on HSE issues, and carry out lone and remote worker assessments when required.
To be considered for the Health & Safety Officer role, you will need to have the following skills & experience:
* Recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH General or IOSH Managing Safely
