Senior Landscape Architect

My client, an award-winning environmental consultancy, work from 6 offices throughout the UK to provide high quality planning, landscape design, ecology and impact assessment services to clients on a broad range of projects. This organisation prides themselves on achieving sustainable development on behalf of all clients and providing innovative solutions to even the most complex of projects. Working in sectors including heritage work, residential, leisure, healthcare and education, energy, parks and open spaces, public realm and mixed-use developments, this business has a diverse client group and project portfolio. Due to continued success and expansion, my client is seeking a talented Senior Landscape Architect to join the team in their Glasgow office.

Requirements

* A degree and post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
* Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI). Individuals on their Pathway to Chartership may also be considered.
* 4-5 years’ experience working within the consultancy sector, ideally in a similar role
* Strong design flair and technical competence
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to confidently liaise with colleague, clients and external parties
* Strong team-working skills
* Demonstrable experience in design from concept to detail and in both hard and soft landscape design
* Project management experience
* Proficient in industry standard software, E.g., AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong hand-drawing skills

About the Role

You will join a dynamic and professional team and will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects. You will work alongside senior staff on high profile projects including public realm designs, landscape conservation projects, heritage and tourism projects and city centre regenerations. You will liaise efficiently with clients to identify the objective of their project and ensure that services are provided to the highest possible standards. You will maintain excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues and will help to contribute to the strong reputation of the company within the industry.
