Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)



I am urgently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who specialises in building services to lead the electrical design on several small and large projects for an award winning, top ranked, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Manchester.

You will manage projects and be the daily point of contact for client, contractors and other project consultants. You will liaise with internal and external design teams, represent my client at design team meetings and develop scheme designs required by the Directors and Principal Engineers.

Requirements are
  • BEng or CEng in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Charted Engineer through IET or CIBSE
  • Relevant experience in electrical building services engineering
  • Exceptional skills using Revit and Amtech software
Duties will be
  • Lead the design team on a wide varied of projects, ranging from small to large sized
  • Lead internal meetings
  • Mentor young and graduate engineers within the Building Service team
  • Attend external meetings with clients
  • Deliver projects of BIM environments producing both calculations and drawings into a common model
In addition to being highly technical you will have recent hands on engineering experience in Building Services. promote innovation in both design solutions and approach to designs, participate in CIBSE and IET regional events.
