Senior Hydraulic Modeller

My client, a market leading UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join and help expand their supportive Team of specialists Consultants based in Birmingham.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the chance to join a specialist Flood Risk and Modelling Team to complete Flood Risk Management, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage and River Engineering Projects from feasibility to completion for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.

Candidates will be required to manage projects, mentor junior team members and provide technical advice to the team. You will also be required to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Surface Water and Catchment Management Plans.

-Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.

-Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

This role comes with a competitive salary and potential of contract extension.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Civil Engineering and experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and/or Tuflow, Flood Risk Assessments and Surface Water Management Plans.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap or completing Drainage Strategy.
