Have you considered working in the hugely important Asbestos management industry?

My client is one of the region’s leading Environmental consultancies, offering a diverse client base expertise in areas such as Health & Safety, Asbestos Management, Legionella / Water Hygiene and much more. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to recruit a Graduate to join the team and train as an Environmental Technician specialising in Asbestos Analysis.

The role will see you travel from site to site, carrying out air-testing and using a microscope to count fibres found in air samples. You will be involved in managing key projects, liaising with a range of stakeholders and ensuring compliance to internal and external policy..

To be considered for the Graduate Environmental Technician role, you will ideally have the following skills & experience:

* Educated to BA Hons level or equivalent
* Strong GCSE or A Level Science results
* Full UK driving license
* Able to analyse technical data
* Good written skills with the ability to produce reports
* Friendly and professional approach
* Willingness to develop career through technical exams and audits

In return, a basic salary of £20,000 is on offer, which rises to £22,000 after a qualifying period. There are paid overtime opportunities as well as an excellent benefits package.
