Exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Consultant within an established company with a fantastic reputation

Opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to work within an established company with a fantastic reputation. The role involves conducting risk assessments and auditing a variety of clients in the residential and commercial sectors, including supermarkets, retail and hospitality locations. The successful candidate will require existing experience working within similar locations for private clients.

Duties of a Health and Safety Consultant:

* Conducting risk assessments;
* Conducting audits;
* Working on different sites/properties – therefore varied experience is essential;
* Developing one-way systems within buildings according to COVID-19 compliance regulations;
* Writing reports for clients on improving existing health and safety;
* Writing guidelines and manuals regarding health and safety regulations.

Person Specification for a Health and Safety Consultant:

* Experience working on different buildings/good all-around knowledge essential;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Experience in fire safety preferred, but not essential (training can be given).

The client has an excellent reputation within the field of health and safety, also carrying out asbestos surveying, fire safety and legionella risk assessments. Therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills and a long-lasting career within a respected company. You will also benefit from a company vehicle with fuel card.

The role is currently home-based, with site visits to 2-3 locations per day.
