Salary : £20-28K+

An engineering consultancy which covers a range of areas, including geotechnical and civil engineering, is looking for a ground engineer with a good working knowledge of piling engineering. You shall be working on sites UK wide as required, whilst being based from their office in the West Midlands. Qualifications: Degree in a ground engineering discipline ideally Civil Engineering (could also be Geology, Geotechnics or Structural Engineering). Full driving licence.

Salary: £20,000-28,000 plus benefits. Dependent on experience and qualifications.

Duties include:

• Client liaison through tender and construction phase
• Geotechnical and structural pile designs
• Reinforced earth embankment and ground anchor designs
• Design/specification of concrete for precast and cast for foundation structures/situ piles
• Design/specification of piling and working
• Desk studies
• Producing technical reports
• Scheduling and designing site investigations
• Supervising contractors
