Qualifications: BSc in a ground engineering discipline such as Geology (An MSc would be advantageous). Full UK driving licence.

Experience: Circa 3-5 years geoenvironmental and geotechnical experience (flexible dependent on experience)

Salary: £20-25k plus benefits

Company: Ground investigation and contaminated land consultancy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Phase I and Phase II investigations

• Phase III remediation design and validation

• Soil and rock logging to British standards

• Groundwater monitoring and sampling

• Contaminated land risk assessments

• Scheduling of geotechnical laboratory testing

• Factual and interpretative report writing

• Groundwater risk assessments

• Slope stability assessments and foundation design

• Overseeing contractors

• Client liaison
