Qualifications: BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering. Chartered Engineer. Member of a relevant professional institution

Experience: Significant experience of design and consultancy. Proven background in a similar role which involves extensive client liaison and the supervision of less experienced team members

Salary: Up to £60k plus benefits

Company: International engineering and management consultancy. 12 UK offices

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing the role of project manager for large and medium sized rail projects

• Assist with preparation for new bids

• Responsible for project teams in the North West and UK wide where necessary

• Responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of concurrent projects

• Use of relevant computer software

• Review and certification of compliance

• Technical leadership of rail, structural and civil engineering

• Ensuring work is carried out on time and within budget to the required standards

• Project planning

• Management of multiple projects

• Building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities

• Use of Suretrack (Primavera P3) project planning
