Salary : 30 - 40K Euros

A leading environmental and ground engineering consultancy are seeking an experience contaminant hydrogeologist to join their friendly team of consultants and engineers in Dublin. You must have several years proven experience of contaminated land hydrogeology, site investigations and remediation.

Qualifications: You should have a degree in a ground engineering discipline (e.g. Geology or Civil Engineering). This should ideally be followed by an MSc in Hydrogeology. A full driving licence is also an essential requirement

Salary: 30,000-40,000 Euros (negotiable and commensurate with experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Groundwater resource development

• Environmental impact assessments

• Contaminant hydrogeology site investigations

• Interpretative and factual report writing

• Intrusive site investigations and design of remediation strategies

• Groundwater flow modelling

• Ground water flood risk assessments

• Preparation of groundwater source protection plans

• Attending conferences and seminars

• Client liaison

• Project management
