Qualification - An MSC or equivalent in Transport planning is desirable though not essential

Experience - Ideally a minimum of 2 years transport planning experience is required

Salary - £25K - £32K – Negotiable upon experience

My client is an award winning multi disciplinary consultancy that provides transport planning solutions as one of their core business sectors. Due to a recent project win creating a high work load they are now seeking a talented transport planner with around 2 years experience to join their team based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Duties:

• Transport Assessments

• Transport statements

• Travel plans

• Successful planning applications

• Preliminary designs of transport infrastructure

• Road Safety Audits

• Environmental Impact assessments

About you:

• Experience in using some of the following software; ARCADY, PICADY, TRANSYT, LINSIG

• Some experience in doing Transport assessments, Travel plans and the whole transport planning and traffic engineering process

• Good Communication skills – both written and spoken

• Proven ability to deliver projects will differentiate you form other candidates
