Qualification - MSC in Transport Planning or other relevant degree discipline that covers transport modelling or mathematical modelling

Experience - Ideally you will have some transport planning experience although this will not be essential

Salary - £17K-£24K+benefits

An independent and specialised transportation planning and traffic engineering consultancy is seeking a graduate transport planner to join their talented transport planning team based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have learnt the basics of modelling either through a degree or experience in the transport planning sector. You will be working alongside highly skilled transport planners who will provide you with support and training.

Duties:

• Transport Modelling

• Public Transport

• Travel Plans

• Transport Assessments

• Public enquiries

• Quality Monitoring

Typical Projects:

• You will be working on a wide range of transport planning projects for clients in the private and public sector

Candidate Requirements:

• You should have an MSC or equivalent in transport planning or a subject that covers modelling

• It would be advantageous though not essential to have experience in transport modelling

• The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in transport modelling with a desire to be involved in the whole transport planning process

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
