Qualification - Ideally you will hold a BENG / MENG or equivalent in Civil or structural engineering or similar

Experience - You will ideally have around 4 or more years experience in a highways design role

Salary - £28K-£38K

My client is seeking a highways design engineer to join their team based in Wakefield.

Duties:

As a highways design engineer you can expect your duties to include;

• Design and implementation of highways improvement schemes

• Specialist design functions

• Specialist liaison with client and others

• Financial awareness

• Operation of QM procedures

• Assistance with risk management

Typical Projects:

• You can expect to work on a range of highways design and improvement schemes for a variety or clients in both the private and public sector.

About You:

• You will ideally have a BENG / MENG in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or similar subject discipline such as Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or similar subject

• You should have 4 or more years experience as a highways design engineer working on highways design and highways improvement schemes

• You will need to have a working knowledge of highways agency technical standards and procedures and also procurement methods
