Qualifications: Degree qualified in chemical engineering, science of mathematics. Several years engineering experience within the energy/chemicals sector with a working knowledge of qualitative/quantitative risk assessment, frequency analysis and risk interrogation processes

Salary: £35-45k plus benefits

Company: International engineering services consultancy. Over 30 UK offices

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use of industry standard software packages for risk assessment processes

• Use of PHAST software

• Management of own workload, working unsupervised to tight deadlines

• Qualitative and quantitative risk assessments

• Consequence modelling, frequency analysis and risk interrogation processes

• Fault/event tree modelling

• Dispersion monitoring

• Familiar with chemical and energy technology
