An opportunity to join a growing bridges team based in the heart of Cheshire. You will be working on projects for major clients including Network Rail.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful applicant will have a BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering and be at least working towards Chartered status (ICE/IStructE) if not already at this level. Proven experience of bridge inspections, design and assessments within the rail sector.

Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with experience (plus extensive benefits package)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Structural inspections and assessments

• Design and detailing of refurbishment and repair schemes

• Delivering designs for bridges, culverts and other related structures

• Preparing calculations, drawings and specifications

• Mentoring of graduates and technicians

• Working on projects across the UK and occasionally overseas.

• Technical report writing

• Working to relevant Codes of Practice and health and safety regulations
