Asbestos Project Manager

Glasgow, UK

Salary : £30 - 33K+

Qualifications and Experience: S301 and P402 certificate are required. Further certificates including P401, P403 and P404 are desirable. Our client is also looking for a Certified Competent Person (CCP). Full UK driving licence.

You will need a proven successful work history within the asbestos sector and business development skills are highly desirable.

Salary: £30-33k plus benefits

Company: One of the UK’s largest service providers which includes an asbestos management division

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking the technical lead in asbestos surveys

  • Identifying new business opportunities in both removals and surveying

  • Professional development of staff within the office and staff recruitment

  • Managing tenders and business proposals

  • Working closely with the Managing Director

  • Providing clients and staff with health and safety training

  • Drafting asbestos survey and asbestos removal specifications

  • Peer reviewing of colleagues work

  • Project management
