Description

An opportunity has arisen with a reputable E&P business holding a global asset base. With its main revenue generation coming from the North Sea, it is business critical that they are able to continue to attract industry leading professionals with a strong European operator background in order to maintain high operational standards. As such my client requires an environmental specialist with a MINIMUM of 5 years NORTH SEA experience.

In this role you be the focal point for industry leading North Sea environmental expertise which you will provide to the production operations, drilling and projects department. You will support the implementation of environmental policy and have an active involvement in setting/achieving targets. You will support auditing and compliance monitoring activities, which means extensive knowledge of UK environmental legislation is essential as well as using your knowledge to assess the impacts on the company business plan.

Suitable professionals will have a minimum of 5 years post degree experience in environmental engineering /advisory/consultancy, much of which will have been spent with a recognized North Sea operator, looking to move as you are keen to progress a career down a high level technical route rather than a commercial / managerial route. Clearly you will have operational exposure as well as a background in implementing/maintaining verified environmental management systems from an office base.
