An opportunity has arisen with a rapidly expanding business holding a global asset base. Key to my client's business plan is optimization and maximization of existing facilities and as such an industry recognized senior facilities engineer with a strong European operator background is required to deliver a number of green/brown field development projects.

You will be responsible for providing facilities engineering technical support for plant design and operation to optimize processes & operations. You will provide input into project management for plant operations with a broad scope of responsibilities in design, construction, maintenance, major turnarounds, and modification of plant facilities. Key to this role is knowledge of concept development, contracting strategy, reliability, pipelines, materials & corrosion, electric power, civil/structural, fixed and rotating mechanical equipment, and instrumentation & controls.

Suitable professionals will have a minimum of 10 years post degree experience in facilities engineering much of which will have been spent with a recognized operator, looking to move as you are keen to progress a career down a high level technical route rather than a commercial / managerial route. Clearly you will have operational exposure as well as a background in the conceptual, definition and detailed design phases. South East Asia experience is preferred.
