Our Facilities recruitment practice has recently been engaged to identify a seasoned Construction Manager for an international operator with multi £billion revenues and a reputation for technical innovation and excellence. The business is currently in the process of carrying out a large scale decommissioning project for which extensive work is underway for preparing several facilities for removal. Several of the larger platforms require the adoption of particularly complex methods of removal and as such extensive preparation is needed.

A strong knowledge of construction and decommissioning of large scale platforms is essential with strong experience from a leading North Sea operator. You must be capable of adjusting plans for workforce and taking command of a number of offshore technical personnel. Industry leading knowledge is needed in order to step into a demanding role where safety is paramount.

As a suitable professional you will have a minimum of 12 years post education field experience with an oil and gas operator in construction roles. A relevant degree in engineering is essential. You must have had a proven past dealing with decommissioning/construction projects from a managerial perspective. A proven background in safety is essential alongside a solid understanding of PtW.
