Description

Our Facilities recruitment practice has recently been engaged to identify a seasoned Construction Planner for an international operator with multi £billion revenues and a reputation for technical innovation and excellence. The business is currently in the process of carrying out a large scale decommissioning project for which extensive work is underway for preparing several facilities for removal. Several of the larger platforms require the adoption of particularly complex methods of removal and as such extensive preparation is needed. Due to the sizable nature of decommissioning a number of platforms they are looking to employ a talented Planning Engineer.

This promises to be a challenging and interesting position encompassing a wide variety of tasks and responsibility. This is across planning and procedure management and implementation, scheduling to ensure the development of concise estimates and studies throughout the decommissioning stages, working closely with cost engineers to prepare and implement project wide WBS/CBS, preparation and management of interface schedules, risk management, change management as well as the implementation and management of reporting systems.

My client requires candidates to hold a B.Eng degree or equivalent in a subject relevant to the Oil and Gas industry preferably with project management experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with projects focused on the North Sea as well as proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.
