Due to increased project base my client is looking for experienced specialist in marine safety with an emphasis on oil and gas operations offshore. This role is extremely challenging and requires strong personality with attention to detail. As a suitable professional you will have a minimum of 10-15 years post education experience in HSE with some background in FPSOs. A degree in engineering or a relevant science discipline and qualifications in HSE are essential. You must have industry leading knowledge in ISPS standard audits plus internal management system audits always with a safety bias. Broad experience in HSE management systems, emergency response, auditing, training, behavioral observation and risk assessment techniques is needed in order to work closely with senior management. This role is suitable to a strong leader whose expertise is industry renowned. This role will suit a candidate currently working for a major operator looking to join a business that believes in maintaining high standards of HSE with long oil and gas industry experience.
