Description

One of the World's largest integrated oil companies is looking to expand its European team in the Netherlands by appointing a senior petrophysicist to lead a small geosciences team. They have recently acquired several new assets which offer huge potential for exploration, and with several producing assets already the European subsidiary of this company is looking to further increase its market share. Currently one of the major producers in Europe, they are looking to increase further by acquiring new licenses and investing in exploration.

You will be charged with exploring new ventures and operational pertrophysics, whilst having a great deal of autonomy and responsibility in designing and implementing LWD programs. You will execute enhanced petrophysical evaluations of exploration prospects, including integration of mud-logging, core and test results (SCAL and CCAL), and generation of property probability distributions for static and dynamic modelling. Experience of both clastic and carbonate systems would be looked upon favourable

As this role is ideally suited for a senior, you will have a minimum of 10 years working experience with a well respected operator, ideally you will have recent, if not present working experience in the North Sea.
