Description

One of the World's largest integrated oil companies is looking to expand its European team in the Netherlands by appointing a Geophysical Supervisor to lead a small geosciences team. They have recently acquired several new assets which offer huge potential for exploration, and with several producing assets already on-stream, their European subsidiary is looking to further increase its market share.

Exploration is key to this company's business model, so the proposing and planning of seismic data acquisition, data processing and reprocessing is extremely important to my clients business moving forward, which you will be responsible for. Whilst being charged with all geophysical aspects in the subsurface team you will review projects and assist seismic interpreters, ensuring that all data is stored appropriately and easy to use. You will work closely with contractors to acquire/process data and ensure that data quality is at a suitable paradigm through technical QC.

As this role is for a senior professional you will ideally have a minimum of 12 years experience within an oil and gas consultancy or operator. The Geophysics Supervisor will be charged with managing the geophysical projects in the E&P department, so prior experience of working in a similar role would be looked upon favourably.
