This independent operator has a diverse portfolio across the globe, with existing assets in several different continents, onshore and offshore in carbonate and clastic environments. With recent development projects coming onboard they are actively seeking to increase team numbers with the appointment of a Senior Geologist. The Role You will be a highly technical, methodical professional with proven proficiency in exploring hydrocarbon accumulations. As an established Geologist you will be charged with exploring, assessing viable opportunities and presenting business opportunities to the management. In presenting the opportunities you will also have proven knowledge in analyzing the risks and uncertainties in any potential prospect. Solid exposure of working in operated and non-operated joint venture work will be a distinct advantage in this role. Skills and Experience Required This role will ideally suit a dynamic professional who has a minimum of 10 years experience working for a well regarded E&P operator. A proven background in identifying exploration prospects and maturing these to drillable assets will be essential. This role will ideally suit a professional who has perhaps worked for a major and looking to work in a smaller more active company, in an autonomous role.
