Title: Chief Geophysicist PPL899Location: Western EuropeTerms: NegotiableDescription Petroleum People's Geoscience Practice has been engaged by an E&P company in Western Europe to secure the services of a proven discipline leader to assume the role of Chief Geophysicist. As a suitable professional, you will be accountable for the entire Geophysics discipline of the company. In terms of technical input, you will have full oversight of, and responsibility for all aspects of seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation. This will span the full E&P lifecycle from new ventures through to supporting ongoing production, involving technical audits and support of all the company's projects. The functional element to the role will see you define and implement required change and direction to the business with regards to the Geophysics discipline. This will include actively developing resources both in terms of the quantity and capability/development of staff, and also identifying and incorporating key technology into the business. Since the role is aimed at a proven leader, you will have a minimum of 20 years industry experience with a well respected international operator.
