Description

My client is a significant American based E&P business which has recently acquired new 3D seismic marine data as part of their ongoing successful operations in South East Asia. Their consistent success in the region, and indeed across the globe, takes it's foundation in their continued investment in innovative E&P technologies and industry leading geoscience. As a result of static anomalies in the recently acquired 3D seismic data, they now urgently require the expertise of a consultant time depth conversion specialist for a 1 month QC contract.

As a suitable professional you will have a minimum of 15 years post education experience, and be fully conversant with the most contemporary E&P software. Paradigm proficiency is a minimum requirement. You will have in depth experience of working within a fully integrated subsurface team of geoscientists, and previous experience of working in South East Asia would be a substantial benefit. The velocity model has already been created from the data, which is why a detailed knowledge of depth conversion is of paramount importance to the role.
