My client is a Western midsized operator with a rapidly expanding global portfolio of assets. Their success over the past several decades has been born from a commitment to innovation at the very highest corporate level. As a result of unparalleled shale gas discoveries, they are now looking to add the services of a consultant geologist with incontestable experience in shale gas environments.

As a suitable professional you will have a minimum of 15 years post education experience with a recognised operator in the Oil and Gas industry, and be fully conversant with the most contemporary E&P software. You will have in depth experience of working within a fully integrated subsurface team of geoscientists, and previous experience of working in South America would be a sizeable benefit. This role is aimed at a professional with a considerable track record in both exploration and development geology.

This opportunity will involve considerable mentoring and training of local staff in shale gas exploration and development plays, and would be best suited to an individual who is looking for a business that prides itself on solid HSE and industry leading technology.
