I have a requirement for a Performance Improvement Engineer (Senior Drilling and Completions Engineer). The client are developing deepwater assets with a clear focus on enhancing the countries potential to produce oil. This means they have a targeted growth plan for the next five years which will require them to identify and attract experienced drilling professionals to enhance the deepwater drilling capabilities

As this a lead role the candidate MUST have DTL, CTL training and qualifications added to a post education background of 15 years of successful drilling as an absolute minimum. With focus will be on developing standards and to act as a technical oversight for the younger engineers. This will be a very hands on role with field work and an emphasis on mentoring. In effect your remit will be to optimize the drilling operation offshore. The client have secured semi-sub rigs (state of the art) and will be receiving delivery of DP Drillships, so a clear and proven background of deepwater operations is and essential requirement.
