Description

Petroleum People's Reservoir Engineering Department is working on behalf of a European independent E&P company who have an immediate requirement to add a Senior Reservoir Engineer to their headquarter-based team. This business is growing at a fast pace and has recently acquired 2 new licenses in West Africa, adding to an already impressive collection of on and off-shore assets. Their development strategy is based on an aggressive drilling campaign and the critical revitalisation of all mature wells.

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will be based in the head office and focused solely on West African assets. They will be responsible for evaluating my client's exploration prospects from a business planning and development perspective, lending expertise in Eclipse reservoir simulation, history matching, well testing and production monitoring and optimisation to all green and brown-field developments. A broad operational RE background is required to add maximum value to a relatively small team.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10 years industry experience and MUST have worked for a recognised operator in West Africa. Furthermore, they must have practical knowledge of the entire upstream industry to complement their specialist Reservoir Engineering abilities.
