I have an excellent opportunity for a senior Reservoir Engineer to rapidly advance their E&P career with a world class mid-sized independent operator. My client has applied an innovative technical approach to develop an impressive production rate approaching 1m bopd from traditionally difficult fields whilst maintaining a lean, top quartile team of engineers. In order to facilitate future growth they have created a new head office-based corporate department to oversee their global assets and they're seeking a talented Reservoir Engineer to lead the REs in a multidisciplinary team.

Operating across an impressive collection of international assets the Lead Reservoir Engineer will be responsible for delivering static and dynamic reservoir models, probabilistic or statistical production forecasts and economic risk analysis. In-depth expertise in reservoir simulation is a key requirement here as it forms a critical part of the role. The incumbent will also be charged with identifying optimal depletion methods such as EOR, ERD or waterflooding and as a Team Lead, they will be responsible for directing colleagues and mentoring other engineers to ensure their continuous development.
