I have an excellent opportunity with a world class mid-sized independent operator. My client is a highly regarded, technologically advanced E&P company with assets spread around the world. Their global production rates per head are unmatched in the industry and they have an upper quartile team of talent in place to maintain this record. They are the non operating partner on 2 large assets in North Africa where daily production is nearing 500,000 bopd and they are seeking a Senior Petroleum Engineer to manage the on-going development of these fields.

As part of the Production Department, the incoming Petroleum Engineer will be responsible for protecting my client's interests in Africa by supervising the technical work undertaken by the operating partner. They will write budget and reserves reports, attend technical and commercial partner meetings both in-country and in Europe and review and approving FDPs, well plans, completion and workover programmes. Ultimately they will be responsible for maximising the value of my client's stake in these assets.

Applicants are expected to have around 10 years of upstream experience in either Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering and they will ideally be able to speak French.
