I have an immediate opportunity for a consultant Petroleum Engineer to join a large international operator in Egypt. My client has enjoyed a long-standing and highly regarded position in the region and their strategy has delivered long standing production growth. This has created a need to quickly add to their team in Cairo and I am looking for an experienced consultant to take up a short-term day rate contract position within the month.

The consultant Petroleum Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary department and focus on the activities below:

• Well interventions, including coil tubing and e-line
• Workovers
• Well surveillance and optimisation
• New well delivery
• Conceptual completion design
• Waterflood management and surveillance

My client is a large integrated operator with a global presence and this role is aimed at vastly experienced consultants who are ready to fly into Cairo at short notice. I expect applicants to have more than 10 years of relevant experience, including the recent completion of similar projects. There is a tax free day rate on offer as well as in country benefits including accommodation and transportation.
