I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Petroleum Engineer to join a large international operator in Egypt as a residential expatriate. The client I am representing has enjoyed a long-standing and highly regarded position in the region, where they are producing over 100,000 bopd from their on- and off-shore assets. They have identified a need to bring 2 senior Petroleum Engineers into their office in Cairo and as such I am looking to speak to suitably talented professionals within the next 2 weeks.

The Senior Petroleum Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary department, reporting directly to the Subsurface Team Lead. Their responsibilities will be focused around planning the activities below:

• Well interventions, including coil tubing and e-line
• Workovers
• Well surveillance and optimisation
• New well delivery
• Conceptual completion design
• Waterflood management and surveillance

My client is a large integrated operator with a global presence and this role is aimed at international expats who are ready to relocate full-time to Cairo. I expect applicants to have more than 10 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering.
