Title: Maintenance Manager (Residency or Rotation)Location: Amiable North African LocationTerms: 3 yr fixed term Contract Expat benefitsDescription We are looking to secure the expertise of a seasoned and committed Maintenance Manager to hold responsibility for maintaining the technical integrity of producing facilities (circa 7000bopd). Our client is an established upstream E&P business within the Oil & Gas industry with assets and operations throughout a number of global locations. They pride themselves on the utilization of state of the art technologies for enhancing seismic processing, drilling and production methods. This role will involve the overall programming, coordination, execution and supervision of the field maintenance operations to achieve maximum efficiency through good oil field practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recommendation of work programs, forecasting expenditures as well as ensuring that all OSHAS and ISO training is administered to field workers. A further aspect of this position will be partaking in regular safety surveys, site visits and meetings to ensure the high standard of safety awareness as well as developing, liaising with relevant parties and executing shut down activities. My client would prefer the candidate to have a university degree or equivalent qualification within a relevant engineering discipline with at least 10yrs of experience within the production facilities sector. This role will require the occasional trip to offshore locations and remote desert environments and an ability to effectively manage multicultural/multidiscipline teams. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate fluent English reading, writing and negotiation skills.
