Description

The Facilities Practice at Petroleum People has an excellent opportunity for a talented Process Engineer to take up a position within an established international integrated energy company; one of Europe's largest producers of oil and gas. They currently hold the rights to a significant number of exploration, production and development concessions which translates to a sizeable number of commercially viable oil and gas fields. The company have recently outlined an ambitious objective of increasing production from both domestic and international operations to be underpinned by substantial financial investments related in particular to their state of the art exploration programme.

This company are proud, and rightfully so, of their implementation of high technologies within their exploration and mature development strategies.

Due to this continuing sustained growth my client is looking to secure a seasoned Process Engineer to take responsibility for the reliability of the producing facilities and oil export pipeline in accordance with domestic and international regulations. This role will involve coordinating all process requirements from within the development department; interfacing between this, third party EPC contractors, pipeline construction services and various external vendors. The role will be working closely with the Project Management team on development process issues and HSE matters.

This role is ideal for a candidate with a background working within multicultural teams in international locations with at least eight years post education experience gained within well regarded operating companies. You will be required to have gained significant experience working as a process engineer within the operations department as well as on oil and gas process system construction projects in remote onshore locations.

It is a must to have competency working with all MS applications, inclusive of MS Project as well as AspenHYSYS.
