Description

The Reservoir Engineering Practice at Petroleum People has been sourced to secure the services of an experienced Production Engineer for a market-leading oil and gas company. They have a large number of operated and non-operated UK assets.

As a talented and senior professional, Responsibilities include:

• Ensure field production/injection is optimised on a daily basis in close liaison with offshore production supervisor.
• Acting as technical specialist and being a resource to the team in all production engineering matters.
• Well performance analysis, diagnosis and well surveillance.
• Formulation of production guidelines and well start up and shut down procedures.
• Ensuring that a culture of strong and effective team-work exists in the team and across disciplines with process engineering and subsurface teams.
• Interface with partners and regulatory authorities.
• Promote and maintain safe working practices onshore and offshore

This is a high profile and challenging role and provides a key link between onshore and offshore operations teams. The environment is truly integrated and you will support and complement subsurface and operational activities to provide recommendations for optimizing well, field and facility performance whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.
