The Reservoir Engineering Practice at Petroleum People has been sourced to secure the services of a Senior Petroleum Engineer for a market-leading independent oil and gas company. This business operates at the forefront of technological innovation, employing a strategy which has delivered an enviable global production rate and an impressive capital position in the current economic climate.

As a talented and senior all round professional, the successful candidate will provide advice and support to the operating companies within multidisciplinary teams with the target to optimise the production and recovery from existing oilfields. Key accountabilities are as follows :-Coordinate reserves & production forecasts for assets, including producing & development assets in the North Sea & North & West Africa, Collate production data from producing fields, take on Operating Committee representation for several of the assets, provide reservoir/petroleum engineering support as required to the commercial Manager in evaluation of new third party opportunities. The position has a direct line of report into the board & would take responsibility for the daily running of all North Sea assets.
