The Reservoir Engineering Practice at Petroleum People has been sourced to secure the services of a Senior Reservoir Engineer for a market-leading independent oil and gas company. As a talented and senior professional, the successful candidate will provide advice and support to the operating companies within multidisciplinary teams with the target to optimise the production and recovery from existing oilfields. Key accountabilities include production forecasts and reserve assessments through application of appropriate analytical and reservoir simulation techniques on assigned fields Help coordinate multi disciplinary team, focus and deliver work in order to meet project targets and milestones Provide economic analysis to support, justify and optimise existing and future producing assets. Present project recommendations and status updates to partners and government. Present reserve assessments to independent third party auditors Generate annual budget and Life of Field plans on assigned fields. Provide technically sound assessment of acquisition opportunities

The incumbent is likely to have enjoyed more than 10 years post-graduate experience with world renowned operating companies and an internationally recognized university education, the main skills are as follows, Decline Curve Analysis, reservoir simulation experience and awareness of emerging technologies.
