Petroleum People's Reservoir engineering team have been asked to source a Reservoir Engineer for a Major oil and gas operator.

Responsibilities may include:

• Monitoring and evaluating well performances and make recommendations to maximize production
• Working in multi-discipline team to plan and execute development drilling projects
• Making scenario analyses of development concepts and optimize such concepts, by use of reservoir simulation models
• Preparing long range strategic plans for the fields by synthesizing relevant data.
• Building and maintaining reservoir simulation models

This role is specifically for an experienced professional so you must have a minimum of 5 years experience with an E&P operator. Key accountabilities include Reservoir Management, production forecasting and reserves estimation, Core analysis, Eclipse simulation, Horizontal Well Analysis a must.

This role would ideally suit a Reservoir engineer who enjoys a 'hands on' technical role within an integrated multi-disciplinary subsurface team. Someone who thrives on the responsibility of working in a fully integrated team would be well positioned to succeed in the role, in a business which is renowned for considerable investment in both personnel and technological development.
