The Reservoir Engineering Practice at Petroleum People has been sourced to secure the services of an experienced Production Engineer for a market-leading oil and gas company. This business operates at the forefront of technological innovation, employing a strategy which has delivered an enviable global production rate and an impressive capital position in the current economic climate. They have a large number of operated and non-operated assets.

The Production Engineer reports to the Head of Production.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Day to day operational, technical and process support to offshore activities
• Coordination between offshore and other departments
• Proactive Production planning
• Improvement of safety and environmental integrity of the offshore installations
• Identifying and defining scope for removal of bottlenecks in the process
• Ensure timely preparation of all documentation; obtaining approval as applicable and submission to meet obligations to authorities/partners
• 10 to 15 offshore days per year to be expected
