This firm is one of the world's largest providers of technical and management services. They offer consultancy support to commercial, government and industrial clients across many sectors.

Within the UK their planning team has worked on a number of high profile waste and minerals projects, some of which have received commendation as best practice in the field. Due to their increased workload from existing and new projects mean they are continually looking to recruit a Principal Waste & Minerals Planner to get involved in their interesting and challenging projects. There are opportunities to contribute to other projects, as well as waste and minerals.

As a Principal Waste and Minerals Planner you will be working in teams comprising professionals from planning, waste and environmental disciplines on a number of Waste and Minerals Development Frameworks for major clients. You will be involved in other planning projects across a range of subject areas, potentially including development control related work.

You will provide specialist waste and minerals planning support to a range of projects, general planning support on projects, liaising with clients, planners and waste professionals and other team members. You will be maintaining technical quality, developing and maintaining excellent client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.

It would be an advantage if you have experience in waste and/or minerals planning in the private or public sector. A proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with clients, other planners and team members, degree and RTPI qualified, flexibility and willingness to contribute to a wide range of planning projects. Experience of Waste and Minerals Development Frameworks and development control related work and responsibility for fee management, would be a huge advantage.
