Applications are sought from candidates to join the growing remediation teams in my clients Bristol and Manchester Offices. The role involves working alongside the established contaminated land team on a variety of UK and International environmental and engineering led remediation projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Scoping, detailed design, implementation and supervision of contaminated land remediation projects (including financial and technical management);

• Occasional assistance with contaminated land site investigations and reporting;

• Assisting the business unit manager with expansion of remediation capabilities in the Bristol & Manchester offices and financial reporting;

• Mentoring of junior staff.

The candidate will have substantial experience in brownfield site investigation and remediation project management, ideally with an environmental consultancy or a remediation contractor. The candidate will also have a minimum of a BSc and a second degree (MSc or PhD) in a related subject, such as civil engineering, hydrogeology, geology, environmental science or environmental chemistry, and ideally be Chartered, or working towards Chartership, with a recognised institution.

An interest in, and flair for, business development would be an advantage.

The candidates will be based in the Bristol and Manchester offices, but have a willingness to travel within the UK, and occasionally overseas, a necessary.
