Senior Environmental Advisor undertaking an enabling role on
a large programme of network schemes in the water industry. This demanding role
will involve the management of multiple projects and involve a variety of
stakeholders and is key in ensuring the necessary consents, permits and/or
permissions are obtained to allow projects to progress to construction phase.
The individual will play an important role in leading aspects of the
environmental team and ensuring overall quality of team outputs.

Experience within the UK environmental sector.

Proven track record working under own initiative,
delivering infrastructure schemes through to construction by completing
necessary third party and environmental work.

Track record in reviewing working and developing junior
team members.

Thorough understanding required of the UK planning system
and a working knowledge of ecological and cultural heritage issues.

Degree qualified to Masters Level (or equivalent) in
Environmental Science or other relevant subject.

A member of a relevant environmental body i.e. IEMA and
CIWEM
-
Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft
Office.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Strong communication skills – both written and oral.

Good client service focus.

Excellent organisational skills and able to multi-task.
