Senior Renewables Consultant (Offshore)

This consulting engineering firm are currently looking for a
Senior Renewables Marine Consultant to be responsible for the management and
delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for offshore renewable
projects, including the coordination and leadership of multidisciplinary teams
and management of the consenting and consultation processes. The location of
this post is flexible, however London, Peterborough or Exeter are preferential.
You will have good experience in the renewables industry,
preferably in the wind farm sector. You will have previous consultancy
experience along with a proven ability to project manage large sized projects
and track record of EIA. You should also be able to demonstrate good knowledge
and experience of the regulatory and legislative system.
It will be essential for the candidate to demonstrate a good
network and knowledge of the renewable energy market. Potential opportunities to
generate new work will be pursued through prior agreement with the Advice Group
Director and Business Development Manager. Key competencies in this role will
include:
You will have a BSc (essential) and MSc (desirable) in a
related discipline, experience in environmental consultancy and project
management and EIA. Knowledge of the renewable energy market (essential) and
previous project management experience of offshore renewable projects. You will
have an understanding of environmental law, the EIA process, and relevant
government policy, particularly relating to the offshore renewables sector.
