This company are looking for a Project Controller and Planner for their London office. They are one of the leading companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms.

As Project Controller and Planner you will work closely with the Development Team in London who are responsible for developing the portfolio of UK offshore wind projects. The Development Team consists of Project Developers, Project Development Mangers, Environmental Managers and a Geographical Informational Systems and Data Coordinator. You will work with the Development Team to plan the development programmes of our UK offshore projects.

The Project Controller and Planner will be responsible for financial controlling and planning of our development projects; controlling and economical reporting of our UK offshore wind development projects; ensuring robust documentation of project to data room standard.

Key duties will include: Project cost control using SAP and preparation of economic status reports for UK offshore wind development projects; Development of project programmes using Microsoft Project and regular updating of programmes to ensure focus on critical path activities in order to meet project milestones; Ensuring that both financial and project data are achieved systematically to data room standard and that commercial decisions are well documented using our documentation system.; Responsible for ensuring that both financial and project data are formatted and archived systematically for quick access in the event of a due diligence process.

You will have a depth of experience in a similar role with the ability to demonstrate how your work experience matches the key duties of the role. You will thrive on finding constructive and practical solutions to all manner of operational and technical challenges. The ability to demonstrate strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills is essential. Holding a relevant qualification such as a BSc in Economics or equivalent would be advantageous.
