Leading engineering and development consultancy are looking
for a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their Ground and
Environmental Engineering team based in Cambridge. This division has a diverse
workload and requires a competent individual to drive forward their future
expansion.
Reporting to the Manager of Ground and Environmental
Engineering, the successful applicant will be expected to manage small
sub-teams, in line with project requirements. Key responsibilities include:

evaluation and definition of geotechnical engineering
requirements for various projects

proposal preparation
-
managing geotechnical projects and liaison with clients
-
technical leadership and skills development
-
financial project management and reporting
-
business development, marketing, recruitment and staff
management.
The ideal candidate will be expected to possess relevant
academic qualifications, be experienced in geotechnical analysis and the use of
geotechnical software, and be able to demonstrate excellent technical
competences in geotechnical engineering design, as well as established project
management skills.
